Welcome to our Garden Explorer!
Santa Fe Botanical Garden (SFBG) is an educational resource that connects people with nature and fosters respect and enjoyment of plants and conservation. Each of our sites tell the story of unique aspects of Northern New Mexico geology, botany and cultural history.
Santa Fe Botanical Garden at Museum Hill is located southeast of historic downtown, nestled in a piñon-juniper woodland landscape. The Botanical Garden celebrates the rich and diverse botanical heritage of our bioregion through a collection that includes regionally specific and suitable flora.
Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve is a nature preserve in La Cienega, with a rare natural cienega and remarkable diversity of plants and wildlife. Garden Explorer allows you to search and learn about plants that have been observed throughout the preserve, however this collection is not mapped and will not appear in the Map view.
Search our plant database using the form below. Additional tips on how to use our new Garden Explorer are available here. The database currently contains 76 families, 282 genera, 613 species and 1423 images.
