Growing Conditions: This plant is easily grown in average, dry to moderately moist, well-drained sandy or loam garden soil. It will tolerate clay as well as dry, rocky soil. It does best in full sun but also grows in part shade. It grows with dry to medium moisture, and is tolerant of drought. Deadheading flowers is not essential for rebloom but may improve general appearance. 'Magnus Superior' may be grown from seed and the plant freely self-seeds. Clumps can be divided about every 4 years.
